World's Largest Spider Web

According to BBC Earth News, a recently-discovered spider from Madagascar spins the largest web on record, spanning 82 feet and able to catch over 30 insects at any moment. Scientists from the Journal of Arachnology say,

"Some of the webs qualify, to the best of our knowledge, as the largest spi
der webs ever documented."

The web isn't only huge, it's tough - made of the strongest biomaterial yet known in nature. The creature making all the fuss is known as Eistein's Bark Spider. You can read the full article here.

Thanks to my friend Cat for this photo. Terrifying!
