Can't Get Enough of Those Abandoned Hospitals

I found this very fantastically eerie video on an urban exploration website called The Fifi Organization. This video, titled Abandoned Hospitals of the Eastern U.S. contains creepy audio from the cassettes the urban explorers found in the hospitals. Very Session 9.

Haunted Toothbrush!

How many times have we said about a malfunctioning electronic, "This thing is possessed!" Connecticut's Norwalk Citizen has a hilarious article I just read that addressed that very thing. The writer relays his story about his electric toothbrush being haunted. It's a fun read and made me think of "haunted" electronics I may have owned in the past. Those that spook me the most are the toy fire engines and ambulances my son has that light up and blare in the middle of the night for not reason at all. It makes me want to yank the batteries out of them the way this guy did with his toothbrush.

American Horror Story Returns

American Horror Story is back this fall and will be titled American Horror Story: Asylum. If you haven't already heard, it's filled with a completely new cast of characters (some actors will return as new characters including Jessica Lange and Evan Peters) and is set in a new place - this time a church-run sanitarium in New England. I can feel the chills already.

Check out the creepy new trailers for the show:

Back in Black

I'm Baaaaack!  (Don't I say that every year when I return to this blog?) Anyway, that time of year is springing into the air, and while I live in the desert and no longer see the leaves starting to change, I always know it's here when JoAnn Fabrics gets their Halloween goodies in the store. This year, I noticed them about two weeks ago. Lots of good stuff in Michaels too, including big, lifelike crows  that vanished when I went back to pick a couple up!

Anyway, if you are reading this, welcome back to my blog. It's time to get spooked. . .

Adrian says, "Ride your broom, Mom."
