How many times have we said about a malfunctioning electronic, "This thing is possessed!" Connecticut's Norwalk Citizen has a hilarious article I just read that addressed that very thing. The writer relays his story about his electric toothbrush being haunted. It's a fun read and made me think of "haunted" electronics I may have owned in the past. Those that spook me the most are the toy fire engines and ambulances my son has that light up and blare in the middle of the night for not reason at all. It makes me want to yank the batteries out of them the way this guy did with his toothbrush.

Weird Ebay Find of the Week
This doll is up for auction on Ebay. Her name is Apistaminum, which was spelled out for the owners on a Ouija board. She apparently cries in the night, moves locations, speaks in a small child's voice in an unknown language, and her hat flies off her head at times. These are just a few of her talents.
There are several of these types of dolls on Ebay, and a lot of the newer looking ones have "spells' attached. This one, however, comes with the original haunting and she can be yours for starting at just $250!
No thanks.
As I typed her name just now, my computer crashed (not uncommon) and my husband lost the connection with his friend on the phone. Guess I'd better just be moving along. . .

SPIELBERG GETS SPOOKED BY "PARANORMAL ACTIVITY"
This week, it was reported in the LA Times that director and Dream Works studio head, Stephen Spielberg was convinced that his copy of the anxiously awaited "Paranormal Activity" was haunted.
In 2008 when Spielberg was still making a decision about whether or not to be a part of the small budget ghost thriller, he got spooked. According to reports, Spielberg had taken his copy of the film to his Pacific Palisades estate and after watching it, the door to his bedroom was mysteriously locked from the inside, forcing him to call a locksmith to get him out.
Not wanting the copy of PA anywhere near his home, Spielberg apparently brought the movie back to Dream Works in a garbage bag, but was so excited about the creepy film that he decided to back it. This is the producer of Poltergeist, after all.
The film is set to open tomorrow in the following towns:
Austin, TX
Baton Rouge, LA
Orlando, FL
State College, PA
Ann Arbor, MI
Boulder, CO
Madison, WI
Tucson, AZ (to my Tucson friends: Go to EL CON, then email me a review!)
Santa Cruz, CA
Durham, NC
Columbus, OH
Seattle, WA
Lincoln, NE
For the rest of us who want to see it, we need to DEMAND IT to get it into our towns.
